Founding Engineer
Help us build the intelligence layer for service. Full-stack, lots of ownership.
About the role
We're looking for a founding engineer to help build the intelligence layer that turns every service event into compounding organizational insight. You'll work across the stack — from data ingestion pipelines and reasoning engines to the interfaces that technicians and engineers use every day.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll shape architecture decisions, ship production code, and work directly with the founders (who come from Tesla, Rivian, Ford, Google, Apple, and Amazon).
What you'll do
- Design and build core platform services — ingestion, reasoning, and feedback loops
- Own features end-to-end: scoping, implementation, deployment, and iteration
- Work with real telemetry and service data from OEMs and fleets
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand workflows and pain points
- Help establish engineering culture, tooling, and practices from the ground up
What we're looking for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals — data structures, systems design, distributed systems
- Experience building production systems in TypeScript/Python and deploying to cloud infrastructure
- Comfort working across the stack: APIs, data pipelines, and frontend when needed
- Prior experience at an early-stage company or a track record of high autonomy in a larger org
- Bonus: experience with diagnostics, telemetry, or service operations in any industry
Why this role
You'll be among the first engineers at a company founded by people who built the diagnostic and service platforms at Tesla, Rivian, and Ford. The problem is real, the domain is deep, and the team is small enough that everything you build matters.
